19th May 2017

Peter has had a spell in hospital due to a chest infection. He was admitted on Thursday 11th and discharged on Thursday 18th May. Thanks to everyone at Kingston Hospital.

He is now very much on the mend and happier to be able to get out and about in the spring sunshine.

Unfortunately, Pete was in hospital on his birthday but looks forward to celebrating with family and friends at a later date.

23rd April 2017

Last weekend Pete enjoyed a happy afternoon at home with the family. This weekend Pete has enjoyed the spring sunshine. Long may it continue.

Peter has been in good form over the last week or so.

9th April 2017

Recently Pete has enjoyed the improving Spring weather, getting out and about much more. Thanks to Andy G. for visiting - really enjoyable.

Trying to keep up with Masters golf and tennis and football as usual, though not enjoying Sunderland's dismal slide towards relegation.

26th March 2017

Apologies for recent lack of news. Our site has been updated and Pete has been in and out of hospital twice during February and March. He is now settled back at Wingham Court and on the mend. Hoping for a period of calm and steady improvement. Back in the gym and cycling when possible.

29th January 2017

The winter weather is restricting opportunities for Pete to go for too many walks but he remains busy with physio and his cycling machine.

Enjoyed following some FA Cup action this weekend and Federer rolling back the years on his way to Australian Open glory.

Pete's room is being redecorated & refurbished, so he's temporarily in a spare room. We look forward to moving back into his regular room in a few days.

13th January 2017

Peter and the family enjoyed him coming home for the afternoon on both Christmas Day and New Years Day. Thanks for your good wishes and cards.

Not so easy to get out and about while the winter weather is here, but we do so whenever possible.

Not a happy time for Sunderland football followers - something of a winter of discontent - but we live in hope. Pete looking forward to keeping up with Australian Open tennis and forthcoming Six Nations rugby.

Happy New Year!
